Our Custom Design Process

At SO TOI, every garment is handcrafted and tailored with precision. Whether you're commissioning a custom dress or embellishing your suit, we provide a personalized experience from consultation to completion.

1. Consultation

Begin by scheduling a Virtual or In-Person Consultation.

During your consultation, we'll:

• Discuss your design vision
• Review fabrics, materials, and embellishment options
• Explain our process and timeline
• Provide a custom quote

Please Note:

• Consultations are required before scheduling any fittings at our atelier.
• Consultations are for discussion only and do not reserve a production spot.
• Consultation fees are non-refundable and will be applied toward your balance if you move forward.
• Quotes are valid for 30 days. Your 1st In-Person Fitting must be scheduled within 30 days to secure your quoted pricing.

2. Custom Dress Process

Most custom garments require 2–4 fittings, depending on the design.

During your 1st Custom Dress In-Person Fitting, we'll:

• Collect your 70% deposit to begin production
• Finalize your dress design, design changes following the 1st In-Person Fitting are not permitted.
  
• Confirm fabrics and materials
  
• Take your measurements

Your custom garment(s) only enters our production queue upon the collection of your 70% deposit at your 1st Custom Dress In-Person Fitting. At your second fitting, your remaining balance &/or 30% deposit is collected to complete full payment.
There are no refunds, exchanges, or other payment arrangements.

3. Suit Embellishment Process

Once you've received your quote, schedule an 1st Suit Embellishment In-Person Fitting.

During your 1st Suit Embellishment In-Person Fitting  appointment, we'll:

• Collect your Full Payment
•  Finalize design & embellishment placements
• Photograph you in your suit before production begins
• Collect suit for embellishment production

Design changes/placements after your 1st Suit Embellishment Fitting are not permitted. There are 2 fittings total 1st Suit Embellishment In-Person Fitting & Final Suit Embellishment Fitting / Pickup. Your custom garment(s) only enters our production queue upon the collection of your full payment. There are no refunds, exchanges, or other payment arrangements.

4. Production

Production timelines vary depending on the garment and design complexity. Rush services may be available upon request and approval with a 20% fee.

Once production begins, changes to the design, fabric, color, silhouette, appliqué, or embellishment placement are not permitted.

5. Appointments

• Cash and major credit cards accepted
• Valid photo ID required for all card payments
• Maximum of 2 additional guests

Please provide 24–48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Following your receiving your quote at your consultation, within 30 days you must schedule your 1st In-Person Fitting for existing quote period. If the mentioned fitting isn’t scheduled with 30 days of receiving quote, a new consultation and updated quote may be required.

6. Refund Policy

All payments made to SO TOI LLC are non-refundable.

Due to the custom nature of our work, all garments and embellishment services are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, redesign or refunds.

By scheduling a consultation, fitting, appointment &/and any of our design services, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
