Our Custom Dressmaking Process
At SO TOI, every dress is handcrafted and tailored to your exact measurements. From concept to final fitting, we guide you through each step to create a dress that’s uniquely yours.
1. Getting Started
To begin your custom dress journey:
Submit an inquiry via email sotoixo@gmail.com. Review your quote sent via email. Schedule a Virtual or In-Person Consultation with our Head Designer &/or Admin to discuss/design your dress.
Note: The consultation fee is non-refundable and will be applied to your dress if you proceed.
2. Virtual / In-Person Consultation
During your consultation, we will: Discuss your style and design preference. Review fabric and material options. Go over costs and production timelines. Schedule your 1st In-Person Fitting.
You must schedule and attend your Consultation before scheduling any fittings. There are no refunds for any consultations held.

3. Turnaround Times & Costs

Suit Embellishments requires 8-16 weeks for embellishments, rush fees may incur 10%-15%.
Turnaround may vary depending on design complexity. Garments needed sooner requires approval & may incur a rush fee. All quoted prices cover labor, pattern making, sourcing high quality fabric & materials etc.
Payment Schedule:

1st Fitting: 70% of total quoted cost. (non-refundable)

2nd Fitting: Remaining 30% of total quoted cost. (non-refundable)
4. Fittings
We offer 3-4 fittings depending on the design.
In-Person Fittings: Located at 530 Euclid Ave Suite 19, Cleveland, Ohio 44115
Appointments required; please allow time to find street parking. Bring up to 3 guests
Wear fitted clothing and appropriate undergarments
Virtual fittings offered for Out of State Clients.
After the first fitting, materials are ordered, and you will receive two 3"x3" fabric swatches.
5. Design Changes & Add-Ons

Initial fitting: Confirm design; any modifications may require a revised quote

After production begins: No changes to color, fabric, style, silhouette, appliqués, or rhinestone placement

Additional modifications: Subject to extra charges and immediate payment if schedule allows
6. Scheduling & Rescheduling

Only schedule fittings as instructed; new availability added monthly

Cancel/reschedule 24–48 hours in advance via text or email

First fittings may be rescheduled once; additional changes may require a new quote

Arriving 15+ minutes late may require rescheduling
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All payments to So Toi LLC are non-refundable. Custom garments are: Non-refundable, Non-exchangeable, Not eligible for returns.
